Hi, I am XC.SHENG, a graduate with a Master's degree in Architecture and Urban Design from the Politecnico di Milano. My expertise encompasses architectural design, urban planning, digital construction, sustainable development, and spatial innovation. I am dedicated to creating impactful designs and exploring the future possibilities of human living environments through my work. My design approach integrates modern architectural concepts, environmental sustainability, technological innovation, and community engagement.

Currently, I am serving as an Urban Data Analytics and Visualization Intern at UN-Habitat (United Nations Human Settlements Programme), where I contribute to the analysis and communication of urban indicators, data visualization, and digital platform development. This experience has deepened my interest in the intersection of urban research, data-driven design, and global sustainable development.

As a professional actively engaged in international dialogues, I have completed architectural internships and served as an assistant designer at several large international companies, including MVRDV in Rotterdam, Netherlands, gmp Architects in Berlin, Germany, Politecnico di Milano MaBa.SAPERLab in Milan, Italy, and TIANHUA Architecture Planning & Engineering Ltd. in Shanghai, China. I have participated in various project schemes and development, involving projects like CSCEC Fourth Engineering Bureau, Marvila Urban Planning, Atelier Toekomst NL 2100, Noviotech Campus, and Groningen Binnenstad, gaining professional knowledge and project experience in China, Italy, Japan, the Netherlands, Portugal and Germany.

In this field, I have achieved a series of accomplishments, including the Excellent Design award in the "Nanjing Public Space 'Micro Update, Micro Happiness' Competition" and the Nomination Award in the "International Competition for Renewal Design of Pocket Park in Nanqiao, Fengxian". My strengths lie in spatial design, visual spatial expression, sustainable design, architectural narration, and model making.

Furthermore, I have actively participated in numerous practical and extension activities, such as cross-cultural architectural design exchange programs, historical building conservation projects, structural engineering field surveys, materials and interior design laboratory work, and ecological architecture research. Through interdisciplinary learning and exchange, I aim to explore new design methods and strategies to address the rapidly changing global environment.

Technically, I am proficient in design and modeling software such as AutoCAD, Rhino, Revit, Adobe Suites, and Vray. Additionally, I have acquired basic skills in parametric design and data analysis, utilizing tools like Grasshopper, QGIS, and Python. In digital construction, I am skilled in Laser cutting, CNC milling, 3D Printing, and Wood Work. As an architecture student with an international perspective and diverse background, I firmly believe that through continuous exploration and innovation, we can shape more livable, sustainable, and vibrant urban environments.
