Grotta Delle Ninfe Hot Spring Park
September 2021 - December 2021
Site: Calabria, Italy
Cooperation work
There are eternal geothermal sulfur springs with an average flow rate of 5 liters per second inside Grotta Della Ninfe. A swimming pool is outside, where residents can also enjoy mud baths. There is a 15m height difference from the cave to the river at bottom of the valley. However, rocks would fall down inside the cave after an earthquake, making it dangerous. The cave is difficult touch now. Therefore, transferring water from inside to outside is a better way to help locals keep memory here.
WATER FEAST is the spring transport system which are included by swimming pool, channel, water tower, aqueduct, bridge, pavilion. In different facilities, people can interact with water. They can walk under the sound of water, meditate before the curtain of water, while around the waterfall of tower.
